Preamble:

The Department provides education to prepare students for a management career. The department is also involved in creating and disseminating knowledge on management through research and consulting in the services sector.

1. Two year full time MBA
2. Five year Integrated MBA (Hospitality, Travel and Tourism)
3. M Phil Program in Management Studies
4. Ph D Program in Management Studies
The department follows 100% student centric learning methods. Formal soft-skill courses and non business courses are offered as part of MBA programs. MBA programs have flexible structure under choice based credit system. Regular weekly seminars are conducted for Ph D and M Phil students.


B. Highlights of major thrust areas of research
The department has a research focus in the areas of Marketing, Human Resource, Finance and organizational behaviour with the main topics of research being complaining behaviour, customer satisfaction and loyalty, stress management, performance management, training and development, quality of work life, market orientation and tourism attraction development. The verticals have been hospitality and tourism, healthcare, small and medium enterprises and banking.
