Goa Youth for Viksit Bharat@2047

Goa University, in collaboration with My Bharat, Goa State, organised “Goa Youth for Viksit Bharat@2047”, a youth engagement programme under the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027, on 11 September 2026. Shri Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Hon’ble Governor of Goa and Chancellor of Goa University, addressed the gathering of Principals and NSS programme officers in the presence of Sr. Prof. Rajendra S. Gad, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Goa University, Shri G. S. Raghav, Director, My Bharat, Goa State, Prof. Sunder N. Dhuri, Registrar of Goa University and Dr. Nitin Sawant, NSS Coordinator, Goa University.

The students of the School of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology (Botany Discipline) and the Shenoi Goembab School of Languages and Literature, under the aegis of the Indian Knowledge System (IKS), jointly organised Ganeshotsav 2026 on 11 Sep 2026 at the Botany premises, Faculty Block A, Goa University.

Awareness session on Preventive behaviour around animals, first aid in case of animal bites, and immediate reporting protocols on 10 Sep 2026. The session was delivered by Dr Priya Dalal, Assistant Director, Govt. Veterinary Hospital, and Dr Niceta Maria Cunha Costa, Veterinary Officer, Disease Investigation Unit, attached to the Dept. of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Patto, Panaji, Goa.

Goa Business School, organised "BAZAAR DAY – EKVOTT: Connecting Communities, Selling Local Produce" on 10 Sep 2026. The event brought together local sellers, entrepreneurs, students and visitors to showcase local products and promote Goan culture, community engagement and local enterprise. Participating sellers included Ghargute, Art by Bu, InnOri and Earth.
