Migration Certificate

PROCEDURE:

Migration Certificate is issued to the student of Goa University or its affiliated colleges who would like to migrate to other institution not affiliated to Goa University for further studies.

  • Candidates are required to apply online.
  • On submission of the Form online, the student will need to approach the concerned College for the issue of Transference Certificate (TC) and surrender the Original Registration Card issued by the Goa University to the concerned College. - Please get in touch with the College to ascertain procedure to obtain the Transference Certificate.
  • The College will thereafter approve and submit the request to the University.
  • Candidates from other Boards/Universities who had registered for programmes under Goa University, their Confirmation of Eligibility shall be checked before processing the request for Migration.
  • Candidates shall be required to make payment of the prescribed application fees Online through Credit Card or Debit Card or NET Banking of any Bank. Please note that there shall be an additional processing charge for online payments as follows:
    • Credit Card: 1.00% of the application fees plus the service tax as applicable.
    • Debit Card: 0.75% plus taxes for application fee upto Rs. 2000.
    • NET Banking: Rs. 10.00 per transaction.

ISSUE OF DUPLICATE MIGRATION CERTIFICATE:

  • Candidates are required to apply online for a Duplicate Migration Certificate through their login ID & Password (given while applying for Migration Certificate)
  • Candidates shall be required to make payment of the prescribed Application fees Online through Credit Card or Debit Card or NET Banking of any Bank. Please note that there shall be an additional processing charge for online payments as follows:
    • Credit Card: 1.00% of the application fees plus the service tax as applicable.
    • Debit Card: 0.75% plus taxes for application fee upto Rs. 2000.
    • NET Banking: Rs. 10.00 per transaction.

CANCELLATION OF MIGRATION CERTIFICATE:

  • If for any reason a candidate fails to join the other University/ Board, he/she shall return the Migration Certificate within three months from the date of its issue for cancellation, through the Principal of the College.
  • Candidates are required to apply online for Cancellation of Migration Certificate through their login ID & Password (given while applying for Migration Certificate)
  • Cancellation beyond three months shall attract prescribed cancellation charges paid using Credit Card or Debit Card or NET Banking of any Bank. Please note that there shall be an additional processing charge for online payments as follows:
    • Credit Card: 1.00% of the application fees plus the service tax as applicable.
    • Debit Card: 0.75% plus taxes for application fee upto Rs. 2000.
    • NET Banking: Rs. 10.00 per transaction.
  • Application fee once paid will not be refunded (full or partial) under any circumstances.
