Executive Summary of the Annual Report 2021-2022

The Annual Report June 2021- May 2022 is split into an introduction section followed by 6 parts.

Part 1 lists the University Authorities and Bodies, including the Executive Council, the University Court, the Academic Council, the Planning Board, the Finance Commission, in addition to the Deans of Faculties, the Officers of the University and the details pertaining to meetings of University Authorities and Bodies.

Part 2 includes the details of the University Schools, Departments, Centres and various Programmes offered. The Schools/Faculties covered include the Faculties of Languages and Literature, Social Sciences, Life Sciences and Environment, School of Sanskrit Philosophy and Indic Studies (SSPIS), School of International and Area Studies, Manohar Parrikar School of Law, Governance and Public Policy, School of Physical and Applied Sciences (SPAS), School of Chemical Sciences (SCS), Goa Business School, School of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (SEOAS) and the Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy (CSSEIP).

Part 3 comprises of various Directorates constituted by Goa University, viz. the Directorates of Research Development & Resources Mobilization (DRDRM), Extra Mural Studies and Extension Services (DEMS & ES), Digital Learning & Initiatives (DDLI), Visiting Chair Research Professors Programme (VRPP), All India Survey on Higher Education, Students Welfare and Cultural Affairs (DSW), Internships, Incubation and Industry Partnership (DIIIP), Student Placement and Alumni Relations (DSPAR), International Cooperation and Exchange (DICE), Rashtriya Uchattar Shiksha Abhiyaan (DRUSA), Foreign Students (DFS), Internal Quality Assurance (DIQA), Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan (DUBA) and Equal Opportunities (DEO).

Part 4 consists of the Facilities and Innovative Programmes involving Computer Centre, Library, Sports, UGC Human Resource Development Centre, Hostels, Health Centre, Estate Management, Workstation for Microdata from Census, University Science and Instrumentation Centre, Remote Sensing Laboratory, Day Care Centre, Guest Houses and Study India Programme.

Part 5 is about the Affiliated Colleges and Recognized Institutions (General Education Colleges, Professional Colleges and Recognized Institutions).

Part 6 gives the list of Ph.D. Awardees.
