The Laboratory consists of a SHIMADZU LCMS-2020 installed in 2012. The provision was made under the UGC-XIth Plan program. The equipment fulfils the need of Organic, Inorganic chemists for routine mass analysis which is key for structure elucidation of compounds.
The equipment is useful for chemists working in the area of organic, inorganic and interdisciplinary fields of Chemistry.
Shimadzu LCMS-2020, Computer monitor, UPS power back-up system, vacuum pump and nitrogen generator.
This is one of the facilities in SCS which has benefited several M.Sc. and Ph.D. students in their research output and resulting in high-quality research publications.
